VAT – Shipping to the European Union
Major changes are taking effect in EU VAT from 1 January 2021.
Orders for our products sent from the UK to consumers in the EU will not carry a VAT charge.
But, those orders will be subject to import VAT on arrival in the relevant EU member state of the consumer. The VAT rate will be set by that state.
Because of the free trade agreement between the UK and the EU, no import tax will be levied.
Therefore the cost of orders for the consumer should be broadly the same as pre-January 2021.
However EU consumers will only be able to take delivery of goods after paying the import VAT applied by their local Tax authorities. This tax may be collected by the local Postal Service of each state.
The EU is introducing a new VAT system on July 1st 2021 that should allow us to add VAT to your order here in the UK as we did before January 2021. This will simplify the process and mean you have no further taxes to pay on your order.
